Three flame-grilled beef patties stack up with six strips of crispy bacon and three slices of American cheese, all in a toasted bun with Baconator sauce. It's the scaled-up version of the Baconator idea, which usually means a double patty and less bacon. Extra layer changes the balance of meat, salt and melted cheese, with sauce spread between the patties and across the bun. Compared with the regular version, there's one more patty and more bacon, so the whole thing runs taller and heavier. It's not subtle, and it's not trying to be. You either want three patties or you don't.
