Flame-grilled beef sits under Swiss cheese, mushroom sauce, and crispy onions in a bun. It’s a straightforward build, with the sauce doing most of the work for the burger’s flavour and the onions adding crunch against the soft cheese and patty. Hungry Jack’s has run variations on this pairing before, including an Angus XT version on a corn-dusted bun in 2011 and a two-patty version with bacon and a seeded bun in 2018. Compared with those, this one keeps the structure simpler, closer to the classic single-patty format.
