Ranch and chimichurri come from opposite ends of the Americas. Ranch is the American buttermilk dressing built on garlic, dill and onion; chimichurri is the Argentine sauce of chopped parsley, garlic, oregano and vinegar that's spooned over grilled meat. Putting the two together keeps ranch's creamy base and borrows chimichurri's herbs and sharpness. It's one of eleven sauces KFC Australia put on its permanent menu in 2026, launched alongside bigger Original Tenders and a Dip'd range built around dipping. Of the creamy sauces in that line-up it's the herb-led one, sitting next to Creamy Garlic and Supercharged rather than the sweet or barbecue options. Sold in a 25 mL pot with a green lid.
Bigger tenders, a Dip'd range and eleven permanent sauces, from Chimichurri Ranch to Liquid Gold. Which are new, which Britain had first, and which two are filler.
