KFC's Pickle Burger counts pickle four separate ways. An Original Recipe fillet picks up pickle dill seasoning, pickle ranch sauce, butter pickles and pickle chips before it goes into the bread, so the brine turns up as seasoning, sauce and slices rather than as a single garnish under the lid. Original Recipe underneath means the eleven herbs and spices are still the base, with the pickle layers built over them instead of replacing them. Dill and vinegar run sharp against a fried coating, which is the trade the whole range is making. It headlines Picklecore, the first pickle menu KFC has run in Australia. The range lands on 1 September 2026 and runs to 28 September, covering Fried Pickle Frickles, Pickle Loaded Chips, a Pickle Pepsi, a pickle ranch sauce sold on its own and a pickle cheesecake with a one-week window of its own in the middle of the month. A limited run, and a first for the Australian menu.
