Pickle Loaded Chips build on KFC's regular chips with popcorn chicken, pickle slices and pickle ranch sauce over the top. It follows the loaded chips format the chain already runs, with the Picklecore sauce and garnish swapped in over the usual gravy and cheese. The pickles do more than add flavour. Loaded chips soften quickly under sauce, and the slices hold a cold crunch in the box after the chips underneath have gone soft. Popcorn chicken copes with that better than a fillet would in the same position, since the pieces are small enough to stay coated rather than turn soggy. Pickle ranch is the same sauce that goes on the Pickle Burger, so the two share a flavour instead of each carrying a different reading of it. It runs with the rest of the Picklecore range from 1 September to 28 September 2026, the first time KFC has built an Australian menu around pickles.
