PERi-PERi Tenders

What is it?

Four chicken breast strips are flame-grilled and basted in PERi-PERi sauce, then served boneless. Meat stays lean and fairly straight, with char from the grill and a coating of chilli, garlic and vinegar on the outside. Compared with other items in the Nando's lineup, these sit on the simpler end of the menu. There's no bone, no crumb, and no wrap or bun, just grilled chicken in a neat, hand-held format. You choose your heat level the same way you would with any Nando's chicken, from lemon and herb through to extra hot, so the spice intensity is up to you. They work well on their own or dipped into a side of perinaise.
