The Halloumi

What is it?

Flame-grilled chicken breast fillet sits alongside grilled halloumi, rocket and a tangy relish on a bun. The cheese stays firm rather than melting, so you get a salty, squeaky bite alongside the char from the chicken and the peppery greens. Compared with other Nando's burgers and wraps, it leans a bit more Mediterranean, with the relish bringing sweetness and acidity to cut through the cheese. It's one of the few options where the cheese is cooked on the grill rather than added cold, which changes the texture entirely and gives it more presence in each bite.
