The interesting thing here is the dough. These are made from the same signature pan recipe as the pizza bases rather than from a separate bread dough, so what arrives is essentially the pizza crust served on its own. That makes them a fair test of the base, since the Original Pan is what the chain is best known for. Cut into sticks there's more crust surface per piece than a slice of pizza gives, which is the point of the format. Cheddar goes over the top rather than mozzarella, a sharper and saltier cheese than the one on the pizzas, and then they're baked until golden. They also make up part of the Triple Dippers platter.
