The Bacon & Cheese Rippa takes Red Rooster's long Rippa format and builds it around two crumbed chicken tenders. The tenders are coated in a smoky BBQ sauce, then topped with bacon, shredded cheese and mayo sauce, all inside a crusty sub roll. The original Rippa Roll is a simpler build, a crumbed chicken strip with mayo and lettuce. This version drops the salad and adds bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce in its place, putting it closer to a loaded sub than the plain roll it started from. It was first released in 2025, added when Red Rooster brought the Rippa range back, and sat alongside the Original, Chilli Aioli and Honey BBQ Rippas. It's sold on its own, as a triple with three tenders, or as part of a combo or box meal.
