At 417g this is the largest pizza in the Specially Selected line, made in the Friuli region of Italy with spinach, goat's cheese, garlic sauce and sautéed onion on a wood fired base. It's the premium counterpart to the International Cuisine spinach thin crust, and the cheese is what separates them. Mozzarella melts into a mild blanket; goat's cheese stays in distinct salty pockets and doesn't disappear into the spinach. Sautéing the onion first removes its raw bite and most of its water, which matters on a base this thin. Like the beetroot version beside it, there's no tomato. Garlic sauce carries the base instead, which is the reason both pizzas taste more like a restaurant white pizza than anything else in the Aldi freezer.
