Packed as a larger-format sausage roll, it combines pork mince with bacon pieces and cheese through the filling, then bakes in flaky pastry. Cheese melts into the meat while the bacon brings little smoky pockets, and the Hungry Man size means more filling than a standard sausage roll from the same brand. It's sold frozen and cooked in the oven from frozen until the pastry is browned and the centre is hot. Expect a heavier, greasier experience than a regular sausage roll, because the cheese and bacon add fat to an already rich pork filling. Best eaten with tomato sauce and straight out of the oven, when the pastry is at its flakiest and the cheese is still molten inside.
