Mexican-style taco seasoning meets beef mince inside a folded pastry shell, using the familiar pastie format rather than a taco shell. Cumin, chilli and paprika give the filling a warm, savoury profile, while the crust bakes up golden and sturdy enough to hold the juices. Mrs Mac's puts this in its frozen savoury pie range, alongside the brand's other handheld bakery items. Compared with a standard beef pastie, the spice mix shifts the filling towards taco territory, but the structure stays very much pastie: sealed pastry, meat in the centre, and a crisp outer case once heated in the oven.
