Giant Sausage Roll

What is it?

Oversized and frozen, this sausage roll packs seasoned pork, herbs and onion into a long cylinder of puff pastry. It’s baked from frozen until the pastry turns golden and flaky, with a filling-to-pastry ratio that’s different from Mrs Mac’s smaller sausage rolls. At around meal size rather than snack size, it sits in the lineup as the bigger, more plate-filling version of the standard party item.
