Belmont Nice Biscuits

What is it?

Thin, crisp biscuits with a light coconut scent and sugar crystals pressed into the top, these tea biscuits are cut into the familiar oval shape with scalloped edges. They’re dry and delicate rather than cakey, with coconut flavour sitting just under the surface. Nice biscuits are a long-running Commonwealth style, and Aldi’s Belmont version sits alongside the rest of the chain’s biscuit tin regulars like shortbreads and assorted creams. Compared with richer coconut biscuits, these lean on a cleaner crumb and a sweet, sparkly finish.
