Thin, hard biscuits with a caramelised sugar base, these are flavoured with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves for that familiar speculoos profile. They’re sold as part of Aldi’s Belmont range and sit alongside the brand’s other everyday biscuit lines, but with a more distinctly spiced, toffee-like flavour. Originating in Belgium and once common with coffee service on European flights, speculoos biscuits are usually defined by their crisp snap and dry, sandy crumb. These are built for dunking, spreading, or eating straight from the packet, and they’re the Aldi version of the style popularised by Biscoff.
