Small, soft chewy lollies with a cocoa flavour that sits somewhere between chocolate and malt. They’ve got a gummy-jube texture rather than a gelatine-heavy bounce, and the taste leans more towards cocoa powder than milk chocolate. Formerly sold as Chicos, these were renamed in 2021 and still fill a narrow spot in the Allen’s range. Unlike most fruity gummies, they’re the only chocolate-flavoured gummy-style lolly sold in Australia. The pieces are small, dark, and uniform, meant for handfuls rather than single bites.
