Sherbies

What is it?

Individually wrapped chewy lollies with a fizzy sherbet centre, these sit in Allen’s soft-eating line rather than the hard-boiled end of the bag. The outer shell is fruit-flavoured and firm at first bite, then gives way to powder that fizzes on the tongue. Each piece is built around that two-step texture: chew first, then the centre melts into sherbet. They’re sold as single lollies for sharing or packet-by-packet snacking, and they’re a different sort of thing from Allen’s jellies or milk-based chews.
