Tim Tam Dark

What is it?

Dark chocolate covers the coating and cream filling of this biscuit, with a darker biscuit to match. Each piece still has the usual layered format, with two biscuits sandwiching a cream centre, then a chocolate shell around the outside. Compared with the Original version, the balance shifts away from sweetness and toward cocoa flavour and a more bitter finish. The coating is dark chocolate rather than milk, so the snap is firmer and the aftertaste tends to hang around a bit longer.
