Caramello Koala

What is it?

Individually wrapped and shaped like a koala, this Cadbury snack pairs milk chocolate with a liquid caramel centre. Bite through the shell and the filling runs out, which is the same caramel idea used in the Caramello block, just shrunk down into a single serve format. It sits alongside Freddo Frog in Cadbury’s animal lineup. Where Freddo is solid chocolate, this one adds the flowing centre, so the texture changes as soon as you bite in. It’s sold as a small confection rather than a share piece, and the wrapping keeps each koala separate until you’re ready to eat it.
