Paper-thin chips with a light vinegar seasoning, these sit somewhere between plain salted and full Salt & Vinegar. The cut is thinner than standard Smith’s chips, so they snap quickly and carry the seasoning in a very even layer. Compared with the brand’s Original chips, there’s a little more acid and less salt-forward simplicity. Against Salt & Vinegar, the tang is milder and less sharp. Sold as a bagged snack for eating straight from the pack, it’s built around potato, vegetable oil, salt and a restrained vinegar-style flavouring.
