Thins are built on a single idea: a thinner cut than a standard potato chip. Slicing thinner means more surface area for the same weight and less potato in the middle, so the chip cooks harder and snaps rather than bends. That changes the eating more than a seasoning ever could. A thicker chip has a soft interior between two crisp faces, where a thin one is crisp the whole way through, which is why the brand leads on texture rather than on flavour. Original is the plainest thing in the range, salted and nothing further, which makes it the clearest test of the cut itself. Made in Australia and sold in 45g, 90g and 175g bags.
