Miniature twisted lollies in three fruit flavours, sold eight to a box. The small format is the point. A full-size lolly is a commitment for a child and often ends up half-eaten, where a mini is finished, which is the same logic behind mini versions of almost everything else in the freezer. Pineapple, strawberry and lemon cover the range from sweet to sharp without overlapping, and all three hold their flavour when frozen. Lemon in particular gains from the cold, since acidity is the one thing freezing doesn't dull. The twist is moulded rather than assembled, so each lolly carries all three colours rather than the box holding one of each. It's a manufacturing flourish more than a flavour decision.
