Pink lemonade is an American invention rather than a British one, and its colour has never come from lemons. Historically it came from whatever red fruit was to hand; here it is raspberry blended into a base of Sicilian lemon juice. That combination suits freezing better than plain lemonade would. Lemon alone is sharp and one-dimensional in a lolly, and a berry adds body and a rounder sweetness underneath the acidity without softening it. Four to a pack, in the same format as the raspberry and Valencia orange lollies in the range. The colour comes from the fruit rather than added dye, which is why it reads pink rather than the vivid red an artificial colour would give.
