Four things in one tub, which is a lot even by this brand's standards: caramel ice cream, brownie pieces, chocolate biscuit and a salted caramel swirl. The salt is doing structural work. Without it everything here would pull one way, since caramel, brownie and biscuit are all built on browned sugar. The two solid inclusions are picked for contrast. Brownie is dense and damp and stays yielding when frozen, while biscuit is dry and snaps, and it keeps that snap because there's almost no water in it to freeze in the first place. Party is a Ben & Jerry's naming habit, and here it stands in for the count.
