Sundaes finish the pint with a layer of whipped topping instead of ganache, which is a harder thing to do than it sounds. Whipped topping is mostly air held in fat, and air is exactly what freezing wants to collapse, so it has to be stabilized to survive the tub. The result eats differently from anything else in the range. Ganache is dense and has to be broken through; whipped topping gives way immediately and disappears, so it reads as a finish rather than a layer. Underneath there's vanilla with chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cookie swirls, and fudge chips sit in the topping. The name is a Vermont pun, which is very much the house style and shows no sign of stopping.
