Caramel four times over: a salted caramel base, caramel swirls, pecan toffee pieces and a caramel-swirled topping. Sea salt fudge chunks are the only thing in the tub not built on browned sugar. That much of one flavor needs the salt to work at all. Salt suppresses bitterness and stops sweetness reading flat, and in a pint this uniformly sweet it's the only thing pulling in another direction. Pecan is the right nut for it. It carries more fat than a walnut and less of the tannin, so it reads soft and almost sweet, and set into toffee it brings the one hard snap in a tub where everything else gives.
