Four things in one tub, and three of them are some form of coffee or chocolate: brownies, an espresso chocolate sauce and espresso chocolate chips, all through a coffee base. The espresso in the sauce and the chips is doing something the base can't. Cold suppresses the volatile aromatics that make coffee smell like coffee, so a frozen coffee flavor loses its top end, and concentrating espresso into an inclusion puts some of that intensity back where the base has given it up. The brownies bring the only soft texture that isn't the ice cream. Dense and chewy against a smooth base, where the chips snap and the sauce simply runs.
