Chicken Fries

What is it?

Seasoned white meat chicken comes shaped into thin, fry-like strips, then breaded and fried for dipping. The elongated form gives each piece more surface area than a nugget, so the coating to meat ratio is pretty high. A peppery seasoning runs through the breading, and the texture lands somewhere between a chicken strip and a fast-food fry. Compared with Burger King’s regular nuggets or chicken sandwiches, these are more of a snackable side item than a meal centerpiece. They’re usually served with a dipping sauce, and the shape is what sets them apart from the rest of the lineup.
