Molded into Burger King's crown shape, then breaded and fried, these chicken nuggets were part of the chain's kids' menu lineup and were discontinued in 2011. Pointed tips browned a little faster than the thicker center, so each piece had a mix of crisp edges and a softer middle. All-white-meat chicken made up the inside, and the breading was lightly seasoned. Compared with Burger King's current nuggets, the shape was the main difference. Brief test runs later brought them back to a few Miami locations, but they never returned nationwide. For fans, the crown shape became a nostalgic symbol of the chain's earlier kids' menu era.
