Finely chopped green cabbage and carrots are bound in a creamy, sweet-tangy dressing, giving this side dish a texture closer to Southern slaw than the mayo-heavy deli version. It was one of Chick-fil-A's longest-running menu items before being discontinued in 2016, when the chain shifted toward lighter sides. Compared with the Superfood Side that replaced it, this slaw was more familiar and softer in texture, with less crunch and more dressing in each bite. Chick-fil-A later shared the recipe online, so it's still something you can mix up at home with the same basic pantry ingredients.
