Five Cheese Mac & Cheese

What is it?

Penne pasta comes tucked into an edible bread bowl, then gets covered in a five-cheese sauce built from cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan-Asiago, and an Alfredo-style cream base. It’s baked until the top turns into a golden cheese crust, so you get a crisp lid over a soft, saucy center. Like Domino's other bread bowl pastas, the format does as much work as the sauce. The bowl soaks up some of the cheese and turns part of the meal into bread, while the pasta stays in the chewier penne shape instead of the looser noodles used in some other mac and cheese versions.
