The Domino is the first pizza Domino's has named after itself, and the shape is the reason. It bakes in a rectangular pan and gets cut down the middle into two squares, so the finished pie reads as the red and blue tile in the logo. Underneath the shape it's a Detroit-style build. The pan dough is thick and buttery, pressed to the sides of the pan and encrusted with real Parmesan so the edge fries into a crisp cheese rim. Two layers of cheese go on, then a choice of sauce and up to three toppings, with a drizzle of the chain's garlic seasoning over the finished pizza. Size is the other decision. This one is built for a single person rather than a table, which is a gap on a menu where almost everything scales up to share. It launched nationwide on August 31, 2026, more than 65 years after the company took the name it's now printing in dough.
