A Dunkalatte swaps the plain milk in a latte for coffee milk, which is milk blended with coffee extract the way chocolate syrup makes chocolate milk. Espresso goes in on top, so the coffee flavour comes from two directions at once. The result reads sweeter and less bitter than a standard latte, closer to a thin coffee milkshake. Coffee milk itself is a Rhode Island tradition, and Dunkin builds the drink hot or, as pictured, iced.
