What is it?

Fork-split and served from Dunkin's bakery case, this round yeast bread comes toasted and buttered as a standalone item. It's small, with the familiar nooks and crannies that hold onto melted butter. Toasting gives the outside a light crisp edge while the inside stays soft and a little steamy. Compared with Dunkin's breakfast sandwiches, this is the stripped-down version, with no egg, cheese, or meat. It's sold on its own, so the whole thing is basically bread plus butter, ready in a few bites alongside coffee or tea. It's also one of the cheapest menu items available.
