What is it?

Two hand-formed beef patties come standard here, cooked on a flat-top grill and topped with melted American cheese on a toasted sesame seed bun. Five Guys builds the sandwich from never-frozen beef, so the patties have an uneven, smashed-looking shape rather than a neat round profile. Fifteen toppings are included at no extra charge, from lettuce, tomato, and onion to grilled mushrooms, jalapeños, green peppers, pickles, and several sauces. In the Five Guys lineup, the single-patty version is sold as the Little version, while this one uses the chain's default double format.
