Two beef patties sit on a sesame seed bun with American cheese, jalapeño-infused cheese sauce, spicy ranch, lettuce, tomato, and pickled jalapeño slices. The sauce is layered between and over the patties, so the burger leans creamy, tangy, and spicy rather than just hot. Built as the double-patty version of Jack in the Box’s Hot Mess line, it follows the same topping mix as the single but adds another beef patty and another round of cheese. Compared with the regular double cheeseburgers in the lineup, the spice comes from the jalapeño sauce, ranch, and pickled peppers instead of ketchup or mustard.
