An individual pot pie baked in its own container, it holds chicken, peas, carrots, and diced potatoes in a thick gravy under a golden top crust. The crust is flaky and layered on top, while the bottom usually turns softer as it soaks up the filling. Unlike most of KFC’s fried lineup, it comes out of the oven rather than the fryer. It’s served hot and eaten with a fork, and the filling is dense enough that it behaves more like a casserole tucked inside pastry than a hand pie.
