Layered from the bottom up with mashed potatoes, sweet corn, bite-size fried chicken pieces, brown gravy, and shredded cheese, this bowl was introduced in 2006 and the format has stayed close to the original. It's built as a compact meal in one container. Each spoonful can come out differently, depending on how the layers mix. You get soft potatoes, pop of corn, crisp breading from the chicken, and gravy tying it together. KFC has also used the same bowl format for other mashups, like the Mac & Cheese Bowl.
