What is it?

Two Original Recipe fried chicken fillets stand in for the bun here, with bacon, pepper jack cheese, and Colonel’s Sauce pressed between them. It’s a hand-held sandwich built from fried chicken on both sides, so the structure is all crisp coating, hot meat, melted cheese, and sauce. KFC introduced it as a limited-time item in the U.S. in 2010, and it’s returned in later runs. Compared with the chain’s standard sandwiches, there’s no bread, no lettuce, and no filler, just the main ingredients stacked together.
