What is it?

Fried chicken wings meet a ghost pepper sauce here, with Popeyes' standard seasoned coating underneath and a heat that builds as you eat. Sauce uses bhut jolokia peppers, which are among the hottest chiles around, and it brings a smoky, slightly sweet note along with the burn. Usually showing up as a limited-time item, they're sold in six-piece or twelve-piece portions. Compared with Popeyes' Signature Hot Wings, the heat lands much higher on the scale.
