The Honey Chicken Biscuit puts Popeyes fried chicken inside a buttermilk biscuit, made larger than the standard one so the chicken fits. The honey sauce comes as two sachets on the side rather than poured on, so it can go on all at once or a bit at a time. The idea came from customers first. People had been ordering the chicken, a biscuit and honey separately, building the sandwich themselves and posting the results online, and Popeyes turned the habit into a menu item. The biscuit doesn't make it breakfast. Popeyes sells it as an all-day item, on the menu from open to close. Launched nationwide in the US in 2026.
