Built on Taco Bell’s Grilled Cheese Burrito format, this vegetarian version swaps in seasoned black beans for the usual meat filling. Inside the flour tortilla, you’ll find seasoned rice, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, and a three-cheese blend. The tortilla is coated on the outside with melted cheese and grilled on a flat top, so it picks up a browned, slightly crisp shell. Compared with other items in Taco Bell’s lineup, it leans on the same layered, saucy structure as the meat version, just without the protein. Beans and rice do the bulk of the work here, while the cheese appears in three places: inside, in the sauce, and on the outside.
