Built on Taco Bell’s Cheesy Gordita Crunch format, this version swaps in a Doritos Locos Taco shell for the usual crunchy taco shell. You still get seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and spicy ranch sauce, tucked inside a hard shell, then wrapped with a soft flatbread and a layer of melted cheese. Compared with the standard version, the main change is that seasoned orange shell. Taco Bell has used the Doritos Locos Taco idea in a few different ways, and this one folds it into the layered gordita setup. It’s a handheld item with soft, crisp, and gooey parts all packed together.
