Duo Habanero is a sauce packet made for Taco Bell's collaboration with Duolingo, the language-learning app. Taco Bell describes it as a bright, tangy sauce with fruity habanero heat. The green packet carries Duo, Duolingo's owl mascot, alongside taco sayings printed in nine languages: English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Portuguese, German, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. The tie-in was built around National Taco Day, which the two brands reframed as Global Taco Day on the idea that "taco" is a word most languages already share. In the US, it was handed out with Doritos Locos Tacos orders, with extra packets sold separately. The same sauce launched on the same day in Canada, Australia, China, India, Spain and the UK. Released in 2026 as a limited edition.
