Thick-cut fries come coated in Taco Bell’s Mexican-style seasoning blend, with cumin, paprika, garlic, and other spices baked into the surface. They’re usually served hot with a side of warm nacho cheese sauce for dipping, so you get crisp edges, a soft potato center, and a salty, lightly smoky finish in the same bite. Originally introduced as a limited-time item in 2018, these fries have returned in several promotional runs, sometimes as loaded versions with beef or extra sauces. Compared with other fries in Taco Bell’s lineup, they’re built more around seasoning and the cheese cup than around the potato itself.
