Volcano Taco

What is it?

Bright red corn shell, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, and Lava Sauce make up this crunchy taco that ran as part of the Volcano Menu. The shell behaves much like the standard crunchy taco shell, but the color gives it a different look on the menu and in the hand. That thick orange-red sauce is built on cayenne and habanero heat. It appeared alongside items like the Volcano Burrito and Volcano Nachos. Compared with the regular crunchy taco, the main difference is that sauce, which adds a creamier texture and a hotter profile than the chain's usual mild, hot, or fire packets.
