Corn tortillas filled with chicken and coated in a green poblano pepper sauce, this frozen meal comes in the same enchilada format as Saffron Road’s chipotle version. Poblano peppers are milder and more vegetal than chipotles, so the sauce leans earthy with a little sweetness and only a light amount of heat. Inside, the chicken filling stays tucked into the corn tortillas, and the green sauce gives the tray a different look from the red chipotle option. Like most frozen enchiladas, it’s built for oven or microwave heating, with the sauce doing most of the work around the filling.
