It's built for oven preparation, though microwave cooking works too. Compared with simpler cream-sauce pasta in the Great Value range, the cheese blend gives the sauce a sharper, saltier profile, and the chicken is mixed through the noodles instead of piled on top. Dense and saucy, the fettuccine needs to stand up to a fairly heavy coating, which it manages thanks to its flat, wide shape. Each serving brings a generous amount of cheese sauce relative to the amount of pasta.
