Crunchy Cheese Curls

What is it?

Extruded corn curls coated in orange cheddar seasoning, these snacks come in a crunchy, dense format rather than the lighter puffed style you find in cheese balls. Each piece has a hard bite at first, then a dry, crumbly corn center under the coating. Compared with other Kroger cheese snacks, this is the crunchier end of the lineup, closer in shape and texture to Cheetos Crunchy. The seasoning clings to the ridges, so you get a fairly even layer of cheese flavor on every piece. Like most cheese curls, they’re finger-staining and best eaten straight from the bag.
