The seasoning leans on tomato, mozzarella, oregano, and garlic, so the flavor reads like saucy pizza rather than plain cheese. Each chip is thin and crisp, with the usual kettle-free Lay's texture under a powdered coating. Unlike some other pizza-flavored chips in the lineup, this one goes after the thick, sweet tomato profile of a deep dish slice. It returned to shelves four separate times after its debut.
